Gerald Holland

Gerald W Holland, age 75, of Clay City, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at his home in Clay City, IL. Gerald was employed by Ames Garden Tools as a truck driver and was a member of the Sailor Springs Baptist Church and the Sailor Springs American Legion. He was an United States Veteran serving in the Army. He was born July 24, 1936 in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of the late John Holland and the late Mary Elizabeth (Cole) Holland. He was married to Marjorie Darlene Forman on December 19, 1972 in Cisne, Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Holland of Sailor Springs; sons, Gerald E Holland of Hillman, Michigan, Danny Holland of North Carolina, and John Holland of Hillman, Michigan; sister: Betty Boehm and husband Ed of Willoughby, Ohio; grandchildren, Onna, Kim, T.C. and Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Holland. Memorials may be made to the family and will be recieved at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Order Flowers
