Gary Lee Connerly, age 76 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at his home in Louisville. Gary was born Thursday, June 12, 1941 in Hord, the son of the late Richard Lealan and the late Lieuzetta P. (Sehie) Connerly. He was united in marriage to Judy Ellen Jones on June 10, 1961 at the Louisville United Methodist Church and to this union one son and one daughter were born. He was self employed as an automobile salesman and owner of Gary's Auto Sales. He was a member of the Louisville Chamber of Commerce, loved Nascar and auto racing. Gary is survived by his wife Judy Connerly of Louisville; son, Brad (Laura) Connerly of Effingham; daughter, Lori (Josh) Phillips of Louisville; sister, Carol (Rodney) Hollenbeck of Manchester, MO; grand children, Kyle and Kaitlyn Connerly of Efffingham and Derrian (fiancee Quinton Wood) Lewis of Louisville. Arrangements are entrusted to J.W. Neal Funeral Home of Louisville, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2017. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Clay County Cancer Support Group and will be received at the funeral home.
