Franklin Kester

Franklin "Frank" Roy Kester, 60 of Louisville passed away at 2:50 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Flora Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Flora. He was born on February 25, 1958 in Granite City, IL the son of the late Paul Eugene and Donna Jean (Hagen) Kester Sr. Mr. Kester worked as a painter and drywaller for several years in the area. He enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends. Frank is survived by two daughters; Trisha Lyn Kester of Benld, IL and Catherine L. Arias of Rantoul, IL, brothers; Paul Eugene Kester Jr. of Flora and Nick Edward Hegel of Louisville, two sisters; Tammy Renea Lockett of Louisville and Marsha (Chad) Henson of Flora and by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to Frank's parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Terry Lyn Long. Memorial services honoring the life of Frank will be conducted at 7 pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services from 6-7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
