Eleanor Becker

Eleanor Romaine Becker, age 91, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 9:27 PM on Monday, January 11, 2016, at the Burge House in Flora, IL. Eleanor was born Friday, August 29, 1924 in Dieterich, IL, the daughter of the late Fred and the late Myrtle (Gross) Adams. She married Charles Lee Becker on April 16, 1949 and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2004. She was self employed as a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and watching butterflies. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also a member of Salt Creek Methodist Church. Eleanor is survived by son, Wayne (Diane) Becker of Flora, IL; daughter, Junellen ( Chuck) Boyd of Coal City, IL; grand children Adam and Eric Boyd, Christopher, Matthew and Katie Becker; great grand children Kalliana, Kalvin and Kaden Becker, Leela Becker, Payten Boyd and Kylee Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, brothers Leban "Bill" Adams, Leland "Charlie" Adams, Clifford "Buck" Adams; and sisters Hazel Norris, Genieve Poynter and Helen Chronic. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, Tuesday, January 19, 2016. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 11:30 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Watson Cemetery, Watson, IL.
