Elaine Herdes, age 71, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at The Florida Hospice House in Ocala, FL. Elaine was born on October 26, 1941, the daughter of Farrell and Ruby Wolfe. She was an executive secretary. She is survived by her son, Greg Herdes of Washington, D. C.; daughter, Kimberly Frye and husband Scott of Ocala, Florida; brother, Bill Wolfe of Effingham; and grandchildren, Rachel Herdes, Alexandra Frye and Madison Frye. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013. Memorial service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013, Garry Hostettler officiating. Interment will be at Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Florida Hospice House and will be received at the funeral home.
