Dorothy Kuhlig

Dorothy June Kuhlig, age 83, of Louisville, IL, passed away at 12:15pm , Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her son's home in Louisville, Illinois. Dorothy was born October 16, 1929 in Louisville, Illinois, the daughter of Sam and Lula (Edwards) Atchison. She married Dale Lewis Kuhlig on June 19, 1948. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2013. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker and was a faithful member of the Bethel Christian Church. Dorothy is survived by sons, Gary (Cheryl) Kuhlig of Louisville, IL, Dan (Sherry) Kuhlig of Flora, IL; daughter, Diana (Steve) Hatton of Vincennes, IN; sister, Lu McDaniel of Effingham, IL; grand children, Kim (Dr. Harry) Carter of Fairfield, IL, Adrien (Chuck) McFadden of Lincoln, IL, Matthew (Bethany) Kuhlig of Flora, IL and 8 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters (Geneva Cripe, Ina Bateman, Lois Atchison). Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Funeral service will be at J.W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Interment will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL.
