Doris Ann Budde, 78, of Louisville went to be with the Lord at 3:15 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Doris Ann (Wolf) Budde was born December 27, 1934, in Montrose, Illinois. She is the daughter of Edwin John and Hulda (Haack) Wolf. Mrs. Budde was baptized, confirmed and married at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Island Grove, Illinois. On January 3, 1953, she married Darrel Budde of Louisville. Doris was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. rural Louisville. She was a past member of Ladies Aid and held many offices. She enjoyed helping with Braille, teaching Sunday School, quilt making, folding bulletins and also served on the Alter Guild. She loved doing church work. Doris worked at Jansen's Clothing Department Store in Effingham for one and half years. Upon her husband, Darrel Budde, returning home from the military, Doris was a homemaker that loved to cook, clean and iron. She loved to help her husband Darrel with the family farm. Doris' hobbies were gardening, flower arranging, sewing, quilting and spending time enjoying her grandchildren's activities. She is survived by her husband, Darrel of 60 years; daughter-in-law, Vickie Budde of Mason and grandson Ethan; daughter, Sherry Berg and husband Dean of Mason; granddaughter Kara, grandson Kurt and special friend Randi Lilly. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mark Lynn Budde. A service to celebrate Doris' life will be at 11:00 am Friday, March 22nd at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Louisville (on the Effingham/Clay County line) with the Rev. Ryan Eden officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran cemetery, rural Louisville. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the church and one hour before the time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church or Donor's Choice. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville is in charge of the arrangements. Order Flowers
