Dolores Rose

Dolores Marion Rose, 90, of Kinmundy, passed away at 11:50 am on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, MO. She was born on September 19, 1928 in Saint Louis, MO the daughter of the late Marion and Lena (Foochee) Hartzell. She married Charles D. Rose on April 6, 1946 in Pocahontas, AR and he passed away on March 10, 1985. Mrs. Rose was a nurse's aide for several years, serving at Twin Willows Nursing Centre and at Doctor's Nursing Care in Salem. Dolores was a member of the Kinmundy Christian Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardens, the outdoors and spending time with her family. Dolores is survived by two sons, Steven Rose of Florence, KY, Randy (Cherie) Rose of Metairie, LA; two daughters, Linda Burke of Ballwin, MO, Donna Rose (Jack) Moore of Kell, a brother; Bernard Hartzell of Saint Louis, MO, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends and by a special friend Eleanor Tate of Kinmundy. In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was preceded in death by two sons; John and Danny Rose, two daughters; Karen Rose and Vicky Roberts and by two brothers, Bob and Darold Hartzell. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Kinmundy Christian Church with Josh Conley officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of services on Saturday at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy.
