Dawn Hughes

Dawn Wyone Hughes, age 78, of Flora, IL, passed away at noon, Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Lakeland Rehabiliation & Health Care Center in Effingham, IL. She was born September 19, 1933, in Garden City, South Dakota, the daughter of Bryan C. and Violet Fern (Stoner) Challand. She was united in marriage with Jack Hughes and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters, Gloria Jones and Dea Checchin both of Chicago. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Violet Challand; husband, Jack Hughes; and brother, Jack C Challand. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL. Graveside service will be at German Methodist Cemetery at 1:30 PM, Sunday, September 23, 2012. Cremation rites will be accorded and Interment will be at German Methodist Cemetery, Bible Grove, IL.
