David Scammahorn

David F. Scammahorn, age 85 of Flora, IL, passed away at 2:35 pm on Monday, December 9, 2013, at his home in Flora, IL. David was born on Monday, June 11, 1928 in Pixley Township, Clay County, Illinois, the son of Huey Fredrick and Hattie (Rice) Scammahorn. On July 27, 1950 in Louisville, IL, he married Helen Pierson. He spent his time as a self-employed welder. David is survived by sons, Randall Scammahorn of Xenia, IL, Robert (Gail) Scammahorn of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Vernadine Wease of West Liberty, IL, Elberta Windhorst of Metropolis, IL, Jeanette Wease of Mitchell, IN; grandson Shawn (Kourtney) Scammahorn of Flora, IL, one granddaughter whom is the daughter of Randall Scammahorn. He was preceded by parents, son, Ronald Scammahorn and brother, Richard Scammahorn. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Noble, IL. Interment will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL.
