Danny Mines

Danny Joe Mines, 31, of Louisville, passed away at 1:50 am on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana attended by his wife Amber, his mother Julie, mother-in-law Loretta, his father John, Uncles; Mike and Randy, his aunt Susan, brothers; Wyatt and Billy (Caitlynn), stepdaughter; Kloey and cousins, Jenny and Jackie. Danny was born on July 2, 1988 in Flora, the son of John and Julie (Marks) Mines. He married Amber Lewis on October 5, 2014 in Louisville and she survives. Danny never met a stranger; he talked to anyone. Danny's generosity extended beyond his family and friends to strangers. Danny willingly shared with everyone all that he had; including his opinion. He was proud to be an American and an avid Lynyrd Skynyrd fan. Danny enjoyed outside pursuits such as fishing, rock hunting, camping and hunting. He loved spending time with his dog Annie, who was his constant companion. In addition to his wife Amber, he is survived by his step children, Kloey, Makayla and Ian, his mother; Julie (Marks) Mines of Washington, Indian, fathers; John (Teresa) Mines of Effingham, Tony (Cindy) McAllister of Louisville and siblings, Billy, Misty, Katherine, Jenny, Wyatt, Nora, Gage, Dustin, Saundra, Jennifer and Joey. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Mines. A Celebration of Life is planned and will be held a later date with a riverside gathering of family and friends. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help offset the cost of funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
