Daniel Mills

Daniel Gene Mills, age 57, of Louisville, passed away at 4:55 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Danny was born January 10, 1959 in Effingham, IL, the son of Bobbie and Lillian (Bible) Mills. he was united in marriage with Rhonda Buhrmann on April 17, 2004. He was employed by Direct Lines Trucking Company in Effingham. Danny was a member of Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville. He was a graduate of the class of 1976 of North Clay High School and received a certificate in Wildlife Game Management at SIU. He loved God, deer hunting and spending time with his family, as well as playing the guitar and singing. He is survived by his mother, Lillian of Lousiville; wife, Rhonda of Louisville; daughters, Brandi (Brian) Sharp of Hazel Dell, IL, Alexas Harvin of Hico, TX, Becca (Ben) Young of Cisne, Jessica Webster of Pana, IL; sons Devin Mills of Louisville and Jerrin Mills of Salem; brother Tim (Susan) Mills of Louisville; sisters Debra Garrett of Louisville and Lori (Doug) Lamar of Sweeden, KY; sister-in-law Ann (Lewis) Mills of Evansville, IN; 9 grandsons and 4 granddaughters plus many nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his dad, Bobbie Glen Mills, brother Tracy Glen Mills and a great neice, Ainsley Beck. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, June 13, 2016. A funeral service will be held at Red Brush Christian Church on Monday June 14, 2016 at 11:00 am, with a one hour visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at Red Brush Cemetery, Louisville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to Gift of Hope, and will be received at the funeral home.
