Crystal Ulane Cook, age 85, of Louisville, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. Crystal was born February 23, 1927, in Iola, IL, the daughter of the late Ruba Owen and late Minnie Mae (Freeman) White. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker and a devoted mother. She is survived by one daughter Linda Cook of Louisville, IL; one son Dale Cook and wife Betty of East Alton, IL; two sisters, June Logan of Edgewood, IL, Diana Podeszwa of Flora, IL; one brother, Rubo White and wife Jane of Belleville, IL; grandchildren, Brande Cook of Wood River, IL, Brian Cook and wife Kristina of New Douglas, IL; and great grandchildren, Katie and Brandon Cook of New Douglas, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2012. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2012. Interment will be at Iola Cemetery, Iola, IL Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice and will be received at the funeral home.
