Tampie Corena "Cagle" Coble, age 100 of Louisville, IL, known as Corena, departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at her daughter's home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Corena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was born in Dalhart, Texas, on January 28, 1913, to William Isaac Cagle and Lula Mae "Ketchum" Cagle. She married James Theodore Coble, (Ted), on July 27, 1929, in Clayton, New Mexico. She is survived by her six children: Priscilla Yvonne O'Sullivan of Louisville, IL, William Ronald Coble and wife Geraldine of Louisville, James Theodore Coble, Jr and wife Mary of Decatur, IL, Stanley Alton Coble and wife Ellen of Fairfield, IL, Glenda Arlene Bryant of Mt. Vernon and Arilla Roschell Walker and husband Jackie of Louisville. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Theodore "Ted" Coble, Sr., in 1971; brothers, Robert Roy Cagle, Everett Cagle; sisters, Virginia Lee Ferguson, Mary Catherine Cagle, half-sister Fannie Decker; three son-in-laws, Robert Eugene Blaydes, John O'Sullivan and Duane Dell Bryant. She, her husband and the two eldest children arrived in Clay County, Illinois, from Oklahoma in 1935. They are survivors of the Dust Bowl. Corena enjoyed helping other people. Her jelly and hot rolls were enjoyed by many people. She loved to cook, quilt, crochet, garden, enjoy music and dance. This remarkable lady will always be remembered by her family for the love and comfort she gave them throughout the years. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm, Saturday, July 20, 3013. Funeral service will be at J.W. Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Interment will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to Clay County Hospice, Clay County Cancer Crusaders or TIP Hospice of Centralia and will be received at the funeral home.
