Cora Hall

Cora LaVern Hall, age 84, of Salem, IL, formerly of the Salem/Alma area, passed away at 7:35 pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Burnsides Community Health Center in Marshall, IL. Cora was the daughter of the late Hallie "Dayton" Crutchfield and the late Susie (Smith) Crutchfield. She married George "Jack" Hall on January 21, 1953 in Salem, IL. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2005. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker, member of Alma Christian Church and was a foster parent to 69 children over the years. Cora is survived by sons, Larry Lyn Hall of Hudsonville, IL, Marlin Hall of Alma, IL; daughters, Glenna (James) Bragg of Marshall, IL, Darla (Daniel) Little of Jacksonville, NC, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter-in-law Patricia L. Hall. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, Kinmundy,IL. A graveside funeral service will be held at Phillips Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:30 am.
