Clarence Stanley

Clarence Lee Stanley, age 79, of Flora, IL, passed away at 9:45 pm, Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Flora Rehab & Healthcare Center in Flora, IL. Clarence was born May 7, 1932 in Hoosier Township of Clay County, Illinois, the son of Arthur Earl and Velma (Smith) Stanley. Clarence was employed by Valley Steel in Flora, Illinois as a security guard. He was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church also in Flora and he was an United States Army Veteran. He is survived by sons, David Stanley of Lubbock, Texas, Allen Stanley and wife Mecca of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Tony Stanley and fiance' Delynn Conwin of Flora; daughter,Lou Ann Capenter and husband Tom of Louisville; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Velma Stanley; brothers, Herman and Virgil Stanley and one sister. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Friday, May 4, 2012. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 11:30 AM, Friday, May 4, 2012, Mike Evans officiating. Interment will be at Ingraham Cemetery, Ingraham, IL Memorials may be made to the Flora Healthcare Activities Fund and will be recieved at the funeral home.
