Carol Williamson

Carol Sue Williamson, age 65, of Flora, IL, passed away at 6:45 am, Friday, July 27, 2012, at her home in Flora, IL. Carol was born March 9, 1947 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Homer M and Charlotte C. (Krell) Tietge. She was united in marriage with Robert H. Williamson on October 15, 1976 in Louisville, IL. She was employed by Minwax - Sherwin Williams in Flora as a receptionist and was a member of the Bethel Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Williamson of Flora; son, Erik Williamson and wife Dannette of Effingham; daughter, Amy Adams and husband Steve of Paragon, Indiana; sisters, Karen Drumm of Marshalltown, Iowa, Pat Vorhies of Lockridge, Iowa, Rosalee Anderson of Lebanon, Oregon and Judy Staats of Letts, Iowa; and granddaughter, Bethany Williamson of Spencer, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Homer M. Tietge; mother, Charlotte C. Stonum and step-father, Vernon Stonum. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 1, 2012, Gary Kuhlig and Dallas Bear officiating. Interment will be at Golden Cemetery, Flora, IL. Memorials may be made to the Parkinsons Research or Donors Choice and will be received at the funeral home.
