Carl Litaker

Carl Litaker Sr., age 72, of Lousiville, passed away at 11:24 am, Saturday, Febuary 20, 2016 at his home in Louisville. Carl was born on March 15, 1943 in Sugtown, Arkansas, the son of the late Raymond and the late Mildred (Smith) Litaker. On May 28, 1965 he was united in marriage with Margie Evans in Hartford, Michigan. He was self employed as a mechanic in Missouri. Carl is survived by his wife Margie of Louisville; daughter Tammy (Matt) Byers of Louisville; sons, Kenneth (Lisa) Litaker of Texas, David Litaker of Taylorville, IL, Carl Litaker Jr. of Flora, James (Staci) Litaker of Vandalia, IL, Bruce Evans of Vandalia, Johnny (Julie) Evans of Vernon, IL; sisters, Helen (Kermit) Gaye of Arkansas, Aline (Bobby) Crawford of Arkansas; brothers, Donald (Margaret) Litaker of Arkansas, Teddy (Jean) Litaker of Michigan, Bobby (Deanna) Litaker of Nokomis, IL, Rudy Litaker of Indiana, Terry (Beth) Litaker of Arkansas; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Tony Litaker. J.W. Neal Funeral Home of Louisville is in charge of arrangements. Cremations rites will be accorded and a memorial gathering will be held at Louisville United Methodist Church in Louisville, IL from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. A memorial tribute will take place at the church at 6:15 pm on Wednesday as well. Memorial contributes may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
