Billy Del Williams, age 81, of Louisville, Illinois passed away at 6:20pm on Friday, July 20, 2012, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Billy was born Tuesday, July 14, 1931 in Hord, Illinois, the son of the late Delbert Williams and the late Lyra McGee Williams. He was employed by North Clay & Effingham School District in Illinois & also in Shrevesport, Louisiana as a teacher in social studies and typing. His hobbies included reading, playing golf and spending time with his children. Billy saw the good in everyone and his kind, honest, caring spirit will be greatly missed. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Billy is survived by son, Kyle Lynn Williams and wife Melinda of Huffman, TX, daughter, Kim Elizabeth Cornell and husband Tom of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Benjamin and Elizabeth Williams of Huffman, TX, and Katherine and Connor Cornell of Dallas, TX He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday, July 23, 2012. Funeral service will be at J.W. Neal Funeral Home at 10:00am, Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Interment will be at Old Union Cemetery, rural Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Research of Parkinson's Disease and will be received at the funeral home.
