Billie Zink

Billie Burget Zink, age 81 of South Houston, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas. Billie was born Friday, March 18, 1932, in Clay County, Illinois, the son of the late Ned Zink and the late Irene "Parsons" Zink. He married Margaret Lewis on June 6, 1955 in Virginia. He spent his time self-employed as a truck triver and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Billie is survived by his wife Margaret Zink of South Houston, Texas; brother-in-law, Robert Willison of Louisville; grandchildren, Chrystal Zink of South Houston, TX, Jennifer (Gerald) Briand of Bacliff, TX, Travis Eastin of Palmer, Alaska, Sarah Zink of Xenia, IL; great grandchildren, Matthew of South Houston, TX and Lydia of Xenia, IL. He was preceded by his parents; son, William Nelson Zink; daughter, Diana Lynn Redding; brother, Robert Zink and sister, Betty Willison. Arrangements are being handled by JW Neal Funeral Home located at 825 Chestnut Street, Louisville, Illinois 62858. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at JW Neal Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at J. W. Neal Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice and will be received at the funeral home.
