Betty Wilson

Mrs. Betty L. Wilson, nee Douglas, age 85, of Clay City, Illinois, died at 11:04a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora, Illinois. On May 31, 1957, Betty L. (Douglas) Newby and Johnny Wilson were married in Bluford, Illinois. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her six sons, Mark Newby (Betty) of Romeoville, IL, Maurice (Kathy) of Bonner, MT, William (Kathy) of Romeoville, IL, Herbert of Troy, IL, Johnny (Elisa) of Joliet, IL, and Michael (Julie) of Troy, IL. 15 grandkids, 17 great-grandkids, 1 sister Ruby of Fairfield, IL. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny, and daughter Charlotte. Private family services will be held, at the Maple Hill Cemetery, Fairfield, Illinois. McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Louisville has been entrusted with the care and arrangements.
