Betty Mulvaney

Betty Mulvaney, age 84, of Kinmundy, IL, passed away at 11:58 am, Friday, April 12, 2013, at the Evergreen Nursing and ReHab in Effingham, IL. She was born November 18, 1928 in Marion County, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence S. and Stella (Brimberry) Chance. She was united in marriage on June 17, 1950, in Kinmundy, Illinois, to Arthur E. Mulvaney and with this union were one son and one daughter. Arthur preceded her in death on October 6, 1996. She was a faithful member of the Kinmundy Christian Church and a member of the Kinmundy American Legion Auxilary and Royal Neighbors of America. Betty enjoyed her time as a homemaker She is survived by son, Larry Lee Mulvaney of Villa Grove; daughter, Ella Campbell and husband Mike of Kinmundy; brother, Kenneth Chance of Alma; sisters, Dorothy Chance and Donna Owens both of Salem; grandchildren, Larry Mulvaney Jr., James Robert Mulvaney and special friend Jennifer, Duane Campbell of Kinmundy, and Scott Campbell and wife Sarah of Farina; great grandchildren,Richie Mulvaney, Eathan Mulvaney, Mason Campbell of Farina, and Piper Campbell of Farina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Stella Chance; husband, Arthur Mulvaney; brothers, Harold, James, Richard Keith, and Darrell Chance; and great grandson, Kris Mulvaney. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, IL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Kinmundy Christian Church. Funeral service will be at the Kinmundy Christian Church at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2013, Josh Conley officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Kinmundy, IL.
