Anna Schneider

Anna Margaret Schneider, 94, of Kinmundy passed away at 1:58 am on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Effingham Rehabilitation and Healthcare Centre in Effingham. Margaret was born on March 13, 1924 at Flat Rock in Marion County, the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Evalena (Crutchfield) Potter. She had a gift and love for rhythm, song and dance. She enjoyed crafting, quilting, photography, gardening and flowers. At one point she was a sales representative for the Avon company. She was a very motivated person with a good work ethic and a strong will to survive. Margaret was very particular about her appearance and always wanted to look her best. She had a love for family, especially the grandbabies. She will be missed by those who knew her. Margaret is survived by three sons; E. Leroy (Barbara) Schneider of Mason, Paul Schneider of Kinmundy and Densel Schneider of Centralia, two daughters; Judy Diss of Kinmundy and Darla Mini of Fort Myers, Florida;13 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, a brother, Gene Potter of Neoga, IL and by a sister, Veda Hawkey of Lawton, Oklahoma, and by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Schneider, a brother, Thomas Potter and by a sister, Zola Slane. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy with Pastor Zack Garrett officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Friedens United Church of Christ in Farina. Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy is in charge of the care and arrangements.
