Alice Willison

Alice Willison, 88 of Effingham, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at Lakeland Rehab & Health Care at 5:30 am. Alice was born November 15, 1929 to Keller and Josie (Immel) Stanfield. She married Vernon Willison on December 25, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 21, 1989 in Elgin, IL. Alice moved to Effingham May 30, 2000. She had previously worked as a beautician. She was a member of Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville. Alice is survived by sister Bonnie Barbee and brother Bob Stanfield, sisters-in-law Sue Stanfield, Betty Stanfield, Janice Embrey and Anna Mae Shuster. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded by sisters Ruby Pierson, Anna Daugherty, and Della Kidwell as well as brothers Riley Stanfield, Immel Stanfield and Ed Stanfield. Services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Triplett & Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, IL who is in charge of the services. A visitation will be held at 9:00 am followed by the service at 10:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to Full Armor Christian Academy or HSHS Hospice Home Care & Hospice of Effingham and will be received at the funeral home.
