Kirby Dalton Obituary (1952 - 2013)

Kirby Gene Dalton Sr., age 60, of Farina, IL, passed away at 12:57 pm, Monday, February 18, 2013, at his home in Farina, Illinois. He was born April 12, 1952 in Monticello, Illinois, the son of Veston H. and Virginia R. (Richardson) Dalton. He was united in marriage with Theresa Dalton and with this union one son and one daughter were born. He was employed at several Clay County body shops as an auto body tech. Kirby is survived by his son, Kirby "J.R.." Dalton Jr. and wife Dawn of Farina; daughter, Tabatha "Tabby" Leathers and special friend Bert Phillips of Farina; best friends, Terry Mitchell, Gary Moore and Charlie Hutcheson; ex-wife, Theresa Dalton of Pana; five granddaughters, two step grandchildren and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Veston and Virginia Dalton. Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville, IL where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2013. Funeral service will be at J. W. Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2013, Bruce Horsley officiating. Interment will be at Martin Cemetery, Alma, IL Memorials may be made to the Clay County Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
